Playstation Blog: ZEN Studios has some exciting news for all you slice-and-dice fans! It's my pleasure to announce that we have partnered with Tecmo as the inspiration for a Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 pinball table, which is the second expansion table for the PSN exclusive ZEN Pinball. Yes, the most intense action game series of all time will be paired with the fast-paced action, stunning visuals, and true-to-life ball and table physics from ZEN Pinball.

From Siliconera.com - Well, they're hinting at something since they e-mailed us this image of Ryu Hayabusa and Ayane encircled by a purple flame.

Our guess is a Ninja Gaiden Sigma themed pinball table. Zen Studios made a Super Street Fighter II pinball table last year to coincide with the launch of Super Street Fighter II HD Remix. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 just came out and that Z looks a lot like the Z in their Zen Pinball logo.

Confirmed content this week is pretty scarce. However what is confirmed is an exciting offering, mainly due to Zen Pinball. Texas Cheat Em will make the poker fans happy. Of course there is the weekly Rock Band and Guitar Hero DLC to look forward to. We are expecting a PSP game, as Sony makes more PSP games available as a digital download.

ZEN Pinball will be available on the PlayStation Store on May 14th for $9.99. Our hands-on with the demo revealed a solid foundation for the game, with realistic (if not a bit fast) physics. ZEN Pinball doesn't offer too many frills: don't expect any boss fights, or hedgehog-inspired platforming segments. Instead, you'll get a rather faithful digital recreation of an arcade cabinet, LED display and all.

As expected, ZEN offers online leaderboards, multiple tables and Trophies. However, we're most intrigued by the video chat-enabled online multiplayer mode. You can check it out next week on the US PlayStation Store.

In affiliation with Amazon.com, TripleChat is happy to bring you the new releases each week for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation Portable.

Along with new game releases they will also highlight the top five bluray releases each week that they feel will best suite movie and TV show fans alike. This is region specific to North America.

This week TripleChat notices there is a slight drought this week in quality titles, perhaps from the release of a particular game...rhymes with J-Lo. Nonetheless the selection is decent depending on what you want to buy. Namco is releasing (they hope) the new Katamari game this week, after pushing it up a week last week and now setting it back to its original release date. Rock Band has a new track pack and Persona comes to the PSP!

On the bluray side of things, it's a good week to be a Trekkie as the second season and "The Next Generation" make their blu debut at some excellent pricepoints. Other releases include a couple of Simon Pegg hits, as well as the latest (and final) season of Terminator.
