For the past few years, at Naughty Dog have been cranking away at creating not only a new single player adventure for Nathan Drake, but an awesome new online experience as well. It has taken blood, sweat, and possibly even a few tears to get to this point, but on June 3, you can get the first crack at a small slice of the multiplayer modes we'll pack into the full game.
Jeff Rubenstein, Social Media Manager for Sony, writes:
Split-screen: "Some of the multiplayer features for Naughty Dog's Uncharted 2 include 'in & out cover, blindfire, coop moves like moving things obstructive paths, destroying walls with RPG, 3-player cooperative mode, playing as Uncharted new/old characters and regions within the new plot, 2 different variants for the Competitive mode, common 5v5 team deathmatch mode & single capture the flag modes,' according to Jake Osuwah, Sony PR. 'Uncharted 2 Multiplayer is very well structured…they brought the single player essence into MP now more specifically.' Which is all well and good. But is Uncharted 2's multiplayer equivalent to Gears of War 3, even hypothetically?"
PS3-Sense writes: "Almost every PlayStation 3 owner is waiting for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. The Uncharted: Drake's Fortune sequel, have this time not only a single player, but also a multiplayer. This concept is new to Naughty Dog and will be well tested in the form of a multiplayer beta. Now sure we hear you thinking, I wish to play it!"

PlayStation LifeStyle writes, "In just over a week, PlayStation LifeStyle will be reporting live from the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). We've been trying to get a handle on the plethora of PlayStation games that will be on display from June 2 through June 4, and it's quite astounding. If you weren't excited about the prospect of new announcements for the PlayStation brand, what if we told you there will be over 75 unique PlayStation games on display - that we know about?! While many are multiplatform titles (though the best still appear to be Sony-exclusive), it is a large increase from last year's showing."
