Popular PSN title PAIN is to be released on Blu ray disc next week in the PAL regions.

ButtonMasher writes: It isn't a new game but for those of us viewing this website that don't have the internet this is good news. Sony have announced that Pain will be released on Blu-Ray this June in all PAL regions. The disc based release will include three environments as well as 15 characters and 2 new game modes which along with the new maps should provide the extra something that was missing from the original PSN version.
PlayStation LifeStyle writes, "Daxter of Jak and Daxter fame will be making a Cameo in the up and coming Pain Sore Sports expansion pack, which will be released before the end of this month. Screenshot after the jump."
Not only does Sore Spots continue the rich tradition of the silly fun that is PAIN, Sore Spots also includes a new multiplayer Mode that I'd like to introduce. It's called "PAINalympics", and it's where two to four players can compete in the following events:
One of the best PSN title (Pain) is getting yet another expansion. The next expansion, "Sore Spots,", It adds some new environments as well as some great new Multi-Player features.

PS3-Sense writes: "There will be a new character coming to the PSN-game PAIN. That wil be the one and only stand-up comedian Andy Dick. We have a video of the preperations of Andy Dick for PAIN."

Also new to this mode: online multiplayer, a first for PAIN."
