Alexian Nox writes, "Overlord II is cute, it's funny ... more than anything, it's random, but little else can be said in favor of it. This is a direction that RTS titles honestly shouldn't take. That said, try it out for yourself and see if you disagree, as it can't hurt you to blow a few minutes riding wolves and clubbing seals."

Hi there, people, I'm Ian 'Helios' Webster, the community manager over at Codemasters. Just wanted to post to let you all know about some particularly juicy Overlord II related news, and also that we're going to be giving the PlayStation.Blog community a chance to ask the dev team some questions about the game.
PETA evidently knows about the baby seal clubbing in Overlord and is OK with it. Their justification? You're playing an evil character so it's expected you'd do evil things.
PlayStation LifeStyle writes, "In just over a week, PlayStation LifeStyle will be reporting live from the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). We've been trying to get a handle on the plethora of PlayStation games that will be on display from June 2 through June 4, and it's quite astounding. If you weren't excited about the prospect of new announcements for the PlayStation brand, what if we told you there will be over 75 unique PlayStation games on display - that we know about?! While many are multiplatform titles (though the best still appear to be Sony-exclusive), it is a large increase from last year's showing."

In Overlord II, players decimate an entire empire and lord over its citizens to become the new Overlord with a more powerful army of minions. PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has a fairly well-known track record when it comes to video games. They inexplicably don't mind punting chickens in Fable 2, defenseless chickens that are no threat to your character whatsoever, but they have a big problem with defending yourself from vicious dogs that are trying to bite your nuts off in Call of Duty: World at War. What, then, would they say about what's going on in Overlord II?
