"Bus stations are never nice places at the best of times - they usually smell a bit like wee, and once, in Bedford bus station, a man of around 60 walked up to me, stared me in the eyes and hooted like an owl.

True story. It was terrifying. This bus station, however, takes the biscuit. My team and I are positioned about 20ft above it, coach bays and varied Tokyo public transport devices spread out before us, and the place is in total, utter chaos. Word of the running gun-battle that I've been occupied with for the past 20 minutes has clearly spread - and more than a couple of innocents have been caught in the crossfire, so people are perhaps right to be worried."

Eidos daddy company SCi has thrown in the towel and decided to release its blaster duo Kane & Lynch: Dead Men and Crossfire on PlayStation 3. This sets up Kane & Lynch, the next shooter from the Hitman boys, for a simultaneous release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this year. Crossfire meanwhile, a new game from the developer behind the Conflict series, will arrive next year on the same platforms. The first details on Kart Attack have been revealed by Blimey Games. Kart Attack is a brand new racing game planned to be released on Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network. Kart Attack will feature some of the most stunning visuals to be seen on the download scene and will rival some of the top racing titles available on any system. The title is planned to feature single-player racing, online racing, and several unique tracks.

Kart Attack is planned to release sometime in 2008.

In affiliation with Amazon.com, TripleChat is happy to bring you the new releases each week for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation Portable.

Along with new game releases they will also highlight the top five bluray releases each week that they feel will best suite movie and TV show fans alike. This is region specific to North America.

This week TripleChat notices there is a slight drought this week in quality titles, perhaps from the release of a particular game...rhymes with J-Lo. Nonetheless the selection is decent depending on what you want to buy. Namco is releasing (they hope) the new Katamari game this week, after pushing it up a week last week and now setting it back to its original release date. Rock Band has a new track pack and Persona comes to the PSP!

On the bluray side of things, it's a good week to be a Trekkie as the second season and "The Next Generation" make their blu debut at some excellent pricepoints. Other releases include a couple of Simon Pegg hits, as well as the latest (and final) season of Terminator.
