PS3 - Iron Man - All-Star Cast for Ironman The Video Game From the article: "SEGA Europe Ltd., SEGA® of America, Inc. and Marvel Entertainment, Inc. announced today that the Iron Man video game, based on the successful Marvel comic book series and the upcoming film by Marvel Studios, will feature the voice talents of Robert Downey Jr., Terence Howard and Shaun Toub. All three actors will reprise their onscreen roles of Tony Stark (Downey), Lt. Col. James "Rhodey" Rhodes (Howard), and Yinsen (Toub). PS3 - Iron Man - Iron Man, Hulk, Alien games power Sega's reinvention It's no mean feat powering up from being video game publisher No. 14 in 2004 to becoming the industry's sixth largest third-party publisher today. But Sega of America is tasting that success. Industry analysts credit its president and COO since 2005, Simon Jeffery, as the force behind the company's struggle to reinvent itself.

In fact, come May 2, when the Marvel Enterprises-produced "Iron Man" blasts into movie theaters, Sega is counting on the day-and-date release of its video game version to inject even more life into what was once a very anemic portfolio.

"Historically, Sega hasn't been part of the license business," explains Jeffery. "But we felt that in order to gain market momentum, we absolutely needed to have big game-appropriate movie licenses under our belt."

PS3 - Iron Man - Iron Man game designers using ILM model The Iron Man video game has two strikes against it, by merit of being (1) a licensed product and (2) poised to be released alongside a movie. However, there are some benefits to the movie connection. Speaking to USA Today, Sega of America Senior Producer Mike McHale revealed that they had received the CG model for Iron Man himself created by Industrial Light & Magic for use in the film.

PS3 - Iron Man - SEGA and Marvel bring Iron Man to the next-generation Directly from San Francisco and London, a double announcement arrives, from SEGA and Marvel, on an alliance for the production of a series of video-games with Iron Man as main character.

The famous American software house, SEGA, has, in fact, been able to acquire exclusively the rights on Marvel intellectual property and the first game born from this marriage will be the official game of the movie which will hit cinemas on the 2nd of May 2008.

"SEGA is an excellent partner to bring our Iron Man franchise to the next-generation consoles," declares David Maisel, Marvel Entertainment Executive Vice President. "SEGA is a powerful firm in video-games world and has always been able to produce excellent software. We are very proud of being able to take Iron Man to cinemas on 2008 and to have done this alliance with such a great partner to take simultaneously Iron Man to the video-game world."
