This post on Polycount from Terminal Reality's lead character artist explains why there was so drastic difference between the PS3 and 360 versions texture quality.
411mania talks about this week's game releases. Highlights include Let's Tap, Fate/unlimited codes PORTABLE, Class of Heroes, Flower, Sun, and Rain, and Ghostbusters: The Video Game.
Did you pre-order the Ghostbusters video game? Did you go to a certain video game retail chain to do so? If you answered yes to both questions, you may have received a call from none other than Dan Aykroyd to remind you to pick up the game.
Something appears to have gone a little wrong with Terminal Reality's PlayStation 3 Ghostbusters engine. At first touted as their lead platform, the native rendering resolution of the game is a little shocking.
Ghostbusters fans who pre-ordered from GameStop are in for a small geektastic treat. GameStop managed to get Dan Akroyd to call gamers who pre-ordered Ghostbusters in full Ray Stantz paranormal mode. It's dorky, but unique way to promote the game and make sure you pick up your copy. Ghostbusters: The Video Game hits the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii tomorrow.
Spook Central wrote: "On Friday I'll post a little bit of information on the DRM found on the PC version (yes, it has DRM), and some random information on what I found on the PC disc and what the PC's readme file tells you that you need to know before buying that version. It's rather crummy that Atari is forcing the DRM on us PC gamers, while also giving us the stripped down version - no online multiplayer co-op (or any online activities at all!) and no downloadable content for the PC version - while PS3 and Xbox gets it all! Apparently Atari forgets that PC gaming INVENTED those features!"
Weekly Game Releases - 14th-20th June June for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PSP and DS.
As Destructoid writes, they confirmed with Atari that the North American version of Ghostbusters for the Xbox 360, set to hit stores on June 16, will not be region locked.
The latest PSM3 review scores including inFamous, Red Faction: Guerilla, Ghostbusters, and FUEL.
Kotaku writes; Atari? Strong brand name. Infogrames? Um, yeah. No wonder Infogrames want to switch its corporate identity to the company Nolan Bushnell founded and made famous.
