While doing a little domain crawling, Voodoo Extreme noticed that ZeniMax Media, the parent company of Bethesda Softworks, recently purchased ElderScrollsOnline.com. Combine this little acquisition with the fact that it recently opened up a online game division headed up by Mythic co-founder Matt Firor.

Today Ubisoft announced it has entered an agreement with Bethesda Softworks to publish The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (GotY) for PLAYSTATION3 computer entertainment system from Sony this December, reports dutch website PS3only.nl Oblivion GotY will include the original version of the award-winning RPG, Oblivion,along with the official expansion, The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles, and the downloadable content, Knights of the Nine.

Bethesda Softworks sent over a note announced they will release their last downloadable content extra for 2006's fantasy RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The download, titled Fighter's Stronghold, will launch on Oct. 15 for both the PC and Xbox 360 versions and for the first week will be free to download.
Celebrating the recent Japanese release of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on the PS3 and Xbox 360, Bethesda has been speaking to the Japanese press about the development and localisation process behind the massive-world RPG
Bethesda has released information on several upcoming products which will be available on store shelves this week. The Japanese will get the PlayStation 3 version of Oblivion, the Xbox 360 version was released several months ago and has been reported to be selling well so they hope the PS3 version will do the same.
PS3's Hot Shots Golf 5 sells 180k. Xbox 360's Oblivion reaches to number 6 while The Legend of Zeld: Phantom Hourglass falls to the last place.
