CC: There have been many videogames made into movies. With a host of games (Mass Effect, Brothers In Arms, InFamous etc.) on their way to the big screen, questions were always going to be asked about Modern Warfare.
Guardian writes: "Retailers around the country will open at midnight tonight in a bid to attract gamers desperate to get their hands on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 – and the good news for consumers is that most will be offering big discounts.
ConnectedConsoles: Infinity Ward (from what we know) are really all about Call of Duty. Though they have admitted that they will move on to making a new IP when the experience of making the games isn't fun any more.

CVG: In what could've turned out be one of the biggest blunders in game business history, Activision originally did not want Call of Duty 4 to be a 'Modern Warfare' game, Infinity Ward has revealed.
Activision-Blizzard have today released an updated release schedule for their autumn/winter line-up. Within the schedule are release dates for all of Activision-Blizzard's highly-anticipated releases throughout October, November and December 2009, including DJ Hero, Band Hero and possibly one of the strongest releases of 2009, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
