PS3 - Battlefield: Bad Company - Battlefield: Bad Company Demo Update DICE writes: "The stats database has been reinforced and you should now see the correct stats both in-game and on the website.

A very small amount of players might experience some freezes when logging in. Please report this on the following thread and we will take care of it as soon as possible: http://forums.ea.com/mboards/thread.jspa?threadID=372186&tstart=0

Please note that you only receive an unlock on Rank 1, 2, and 4, for a total of 3 unlocks.

We will continue working around the clock to improve your experience even further. This Tuesday we're rolling out an update during the regular maintenance to secure the integrity of your stats.

We've noticed that EU players sometimes end up on North American east coast servers and vice versa. During the maintenance the ping servers will be tuned in order to make sure you end up on the server with lowest ping.

We've increased the number of servers to cater for an amazing 50,000 players. In a couple of hours time we need to restart all servers to prepare for this and to decrease the lag and improve the experience on X360.

RESTART WILL OCCUR AT 4pm PDT / 7pm EDT / 01:00 CEST.

See you on the Battlefield!

/The Bad Company team & DICE Live"

PS3 - Battlefield: Bad Company - Battlefield: Bad Company Stats Launch Planet Battlefield writes: "If you take a look over on the official Battlefield: Bad Company website you'll notice DICE have launched a brand new "My Soldier" page displaying player stats for the demo and eventually the full game. Once you login to your EA account you can link your Xbox gamertag or Playstation ID and within a couple minutes your stats will be displayed. A lot of information is shown even all the requirements for all those nifty trophies, wildcards, patches, and even multiplayer achievements.

One thing I never noticed on the BFBC site is that the pin on the smiley grenade in the left can be pulled. Try it out for yourself :-)"

PS3 - Battlefield: Bad Company - Battlefield: Bad Company to Have 300MB Install on PS3 SCRAWL: "SCRAWL reader Reedix sent in a comparison picture of the boxes of EA's upcoming Battlefield: Bad Company on the PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360. What he noticed was that the PLAYSTATION 3 requires 300MB of space while the Xbox 360 version requires 2MB of space. He got these box shots from the PS3 and 360 pages for the game on GameStop.com. Even if it is 300MB, I still don't like it."
