Kotaku writes.... Ubisoft's slow roll out of Assassin's Creed II information continued at Gamescom, with the game's creative director Patrice Desilets highlighting additional ways the sequel has improved. One major addition is a series of "secret missions" that feel Prince of Persia-esque.

Eurogamer has announced that twelve of the games industry's biggest publishers have signed up for this year's Eurogamer Expo. For Assassin's Creed the developers added three factions: The thiefs, mercenaries and the courtesans. You will meet their leaders thoughout the game. They also added a new notoriety system.
