For Formula One fans, there can be no better news than this latest batch of images from Formula One 06 for PS3 - it's officially licensed up the exhaust-wazoo, it looks sharp as knives and will no doubt be faster than lightning. Although it might not be called '06' when it launches over here, in March 2007.
But no matter. Point your eyes down and enjoy these new screens. There's Jenson Button's helmet to gawp at, a full-frontal shot of Kimi Raikkonen's sleek vehicle
Sega will develop and publish "multiple" games based on the Alien film franchise for next-gen consoles, the publisher-cum-developer has announced today. A role-playing game and a shooter are already in development and the first game in the collection will launch in 2009.
The potential for superb deep-space action is exciting and, although Sigourney Weaver and Lance Henriksen are reportedly discussing voice and likeness issues with Sega, the games are unlikely to be retreads of the films. It's
With much shouting and looking hard, we've managed to commandeer a fistful of shots of Rogue Warrior, Bethesda Softworks' first-person shooter due out for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC next year.
Rogue Warrior is based on books of Dick Marcinko, an ex-Navy Seal who is also known as the Rogue Warrior. The game has Marcinko and his team of special ops soldiers caught behind enemy lines in North Korea just as the communist state invades South Korea. The team is abandoned and so must fight for
It's that magical time of the year again. Time for family and togetherness. Time for snow and twinkling lights. Time for cookies, candy canes and that barely liquefied nightmare we call egg nog. But, most importantly, time for school vacation, paid days off and a whole bag of new games to play while gathered around the comforting and crackling warmth of our television sets. Yes, it's what the holiday season is all about and we're here to help you make the most of it.
But with a whopping seven
Seeing as Virtua Fighter 5 is one of the most visually pleasing next-gen games around, we thought we'd share some more shots of it with you. Nope, didn't think you'd complain.
Since its release in Japanese arcades earlier this year VF5 has proved to be the choice for hardcore fighting fans thanks to its subtle but extremely complex fighting system that encourages gamers to develop a strong defense and a counter-attacking
This is it, folks: the Holy Grail of the 2006 holiday season. If you want to get one of these before the end of the year, you've got three choices: chase down rumors and wait in line outside stores, pay extra on eBay or get a high-profile job in the game industry. Even if you manage to find a store that has them in stock, expect to pay at least $500 for the bare-bones model, which features a 20GB hard drive, or $600 for one that packs in a 60GB hard drive, a built-in reader for three types of
Though we and everyone else kinda saw it coming, publisher Ubisoft announced today that Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter is getting a sequel. It is scheduled to hit shelves in Spring 2007 for Xbox 360, PS3, PC and PSP.
The original was one of the first games to offer a truly next-gen experience, technically and graphically, so it will be quite a challenge for the developers to "wow" us all over again. At the moment, they're promising better AI, morphing light and shadows and shifting weather

Set in 2014 the game sees the Special-Ops team back in action in order to counter the threat from the Mexico/US border where rebels are attempting to bring their brand of chaos and destruction to US soil. It's up to futuristic Ghost squad with their upgraded Integrated Warfighter System to protect the 1,900 mile border.
GRAW2 will visit new locations as
One of the most exciting Xbox 360 games for 2007 is Mass Effect, the hot new RPG from powerhouse developer BioWare (Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic). In September, Microsoft hosted the X06 conference in Barcelona to give us a look at its lineup. The Mass Effect trailer there dazzled attendees, and it's finally going to hit Xbox Live and the official website this Friday... meaning tomorrow. We'll link you to the forum thread with its measly details, just so you know for sure.
