It's been nearly a year since talk of a sequel to Monolith's FPS F.E.A.R., but today it's been reaffirmed that a follow-up to the horror-shooter is planned. In a press release from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announcing that Monolith CEO Samantha Ryan has also now assumed the role of Senior Vice President, Development & Production at WBIE, it's mentioned that the company's "current production slate" includes "the sequel to F.E.A.R." Developer Monolith is owned by Warner

It's been almost a week since Canadian developer Silicon Knights reported significant layoffs at its Ontario-based studio, and now it appears WB Games will soon be following suit in Seattle. Over the weekend, the publisher confirmed it is cutting staff across its three owned studios, which include Surreal Software (The Suffering), Monolith Productions (F.E.A.R, Gotham City Imposters), and Snowblind Studios (Lord of the Rings: War in the North)...

Well, well, well. After enjoying a single week on top of the UK charts, Halo Reach has been displaced by Codemasters' F1 2010. That's not even with a full week of F1 sales as the game only went on sale on Friday. Now everyone's favorite self-deprecating game designer is making fun of his big talk about Black & White's weather patterns...

EA has released the first proper in-game shots from its toon-ed up Fight Night, FaceBreaker, which is still looking very much like Ready to Rumble with Team Fortress's pants on. Get a look here. The 360, PS3 and Wii boxer is set to feature bold, cartoon visuals, a cast of crazy characters and "real-time facial deformation", which means that you can literally smash your opponent's face in like Playdough.Playable fighters include "a Latin

Electronic Arts' next big boxing game for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii sounds a bit more like Ready 2 Rumble than Fight Night. Is that a good thing? FaceBreaker (good name, for a start) is set to feature bold, cartoon graphics and real-time facial deformation, which means that yes, you can literally smash your opponent's mug wide open and watch it all unfold before your eyes. In a cartoon fashion though. Playable fighters include "a Latin lover known for his pelvic thrusts," a Russian demolitions

Fallout 3 is aiming to bring us closer than ever to our characters, through an innovative attribute-selecting experience. Instead of navigating a series of menus and options, we'll be living out the crucial moments of our vault-dwelling avatar - literally his formative years. During these experiences you'll interact with your ol' dad, played by Liam Neeson. And by undergoing your early years, the character you eventually end up with will feel far more familiar, and intrinsically yours, than
