The PS3's revolutionary motion-sensing controller might not be so revolutionary after all, according to PSM Executive Editor Randy Nelson. In our sister magazine's latest video podcast, he takes Warhawk for a motion-sensitive test flight. Except that it's the original, 10-year-old PSone Warhawk. And he's using a motion-sensitive Pelican PSone controller from 1999, which he bought on eBay for about $5.

Gamers will not mind paying a higher price for PlayStation 3 as they will be aware that they are paying for potential, according to Sony CEO Howard Stringer.
"Obviously, it's a higher risk strategy - as all new inventions are - but if PS3 lives up to its total potential then I don't think anyone will be worried about Nintendo or Xbox's cheaper price," Stringer told a Japanese press conference.
