Square Enix could well be developing more games based on the Final Fantasy XIII universe beyond the three that were announced at the recent E3 games show.
The new additions are Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII for the PlayStation 3, and Final Fantasy Agito XIII for mobile. All three are part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series, which has been designed from the beginning to allow for different projects to exist in the same universe. More details on the FFXIII projects are
We got some curious footage of the Rayman development team apparently under siege by nefarious rabbits - or rather, "rabbids." We'd heard that Rayman Raving Rabbids was about bunnies wreaking havoc on the Rayman world, but we had no idea that they had escaped the development environment to harass real, flesh-and-blood people in France.
We've picked up a few new screens of these hateful hares in their "natural" digital environment (which Ubisoft has confirmed is Wii along with "current and

Further to our article yesterday that high street games shops have been told by Sony that there will be no PS3 pre-owned sections in their stores, a Sony Europe representative has responded with a further - albeit brief - comment.
Their statement reads in full: "These rumours are unfounded and, to my knowledge, SCEE has no plans to change our business model to adopt such a system."
We'll keep you posted as soon as we hear any more on this intriguing story - whether from

High street games shops have been told by Sony that there will be no PS3 pre-owned sections in their stores as it will be illegal for customers to sell any next-gen PlayStation games that they've bought, retail sources have revealed to GamesRadar.
It seems that Sony is planning to adopt a licensing system that will mean gamers won't own the PS3 titles that they've paid money for. Instead, they will only be purchasing the licence to play the game and that the software
This year's Electronic Entertainment Expo held more than its share of surprises - however, there are few in this year's Game Critics Award nominee list, released today. We're not sure how Heavenly Sword ended up in the Fighting game category when God of War II is Action/Adventure (the GamesRadar US ballot had them both in A/A), but overall, this is an excellent list of this year's best of the best of the best - at least at this point in their development cycles.
The graphically astonishing
Not content to get all of the controversy regarding PlayStation 3 out in the open during E3 06 - see our story regarding the sky-high price; the motion-sensitive, non-rumbling controller; and the differences between the two PS3 models - Sony apparently saved some for later.
Our UK companion site recently posted an article outlining a claim that certain UK retailers have been informed that they will be unable to sell used PlayStation 3 games.
Sony does indeed have the patented ability to
We came away from E3 more impressed with John Woo Presents Stranglehold than we expected to be. This fresh trailer (just click the Movies tab above) should give you a pretty good indication as to why we were so giddy.
An interactive sequel to John Woo's classic action film Hard Boiled, Stranglehold picks up the story of Inspector Tequila; Chow-Yun Fat reprises his role as the twin-pistol firing, banister-running, chandelier-swinging cop declaring war on the criminal underworld. Woo's moves
Ritual Entertainment, developer of the PC first-person shooter SiN Episodes, is considering bringing the game to next-gen consoles Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
SiN Episodes is an ambitious, episodic gaming project that will see the FPS released in nine different downloadable segments. It follows the exploits of the HardCorps commander John Blade, who first appeared in the original SiN that was released in 1998, and his attempt to bring down an evil
It's one of the most popular FPS series ever and it's been absent for a couple of years now, but Unreal Tournament in its 2007 incarnation is getting closer and closer.
To ease the waiting, we've managed to get ahold of some shots of the recent E3 demo - shown below and on the images tab above - revealing an arctic environment getting blasted
