Sony has announced that a total of 10,000 PlayStation 3 development systems have been sent out to 208 companies from 11 different countries.
This beats the amount of dev kits given out for the PSone and PS2, and includes systems given out to all the heavyweights of the gaming world, such as EA, Konami, Sega, Rockstar and Activision.

We've got our hands on a new trailer that demonstrates the type of customisation gamers will be able to do with the Sony's PlayStation 3 version of SingStar.
While there's little Sony can do to improve the gameplay (singplay?), the experience will be given a next-gen edge by allowing gamers to create their ultimate SingStar track list with downloads from PS3's online service.

PlayStation 3 will "last 10 years" thanks to its choice of Blu-ray as its optical disc format, according to the graphics chip company that has worked on both PS3 and the original Xbox.

Last week we brought you a trailer showing just how Tony Hawk's Project 8 developer Neversoft motion captured a pro skater in action, now we can show the incredible results of the process.
