We've yet to get fully acquainted with Fatal Intertia - the hovercraft-racing speedfest that melds Wipeout-style neon-trailing speedsters with huge, incredible racetracks that echo the podracing moments from Star Wars Episode One - but from these images the game looks like a high-speed blast, where overtaking can involve piloting your vehicle right underneath a rival's craft.
And while these screens look distinctly like pre-set renders (that is, not proper in-game

Ninja Gaiden Sigma developer Tecmo has released a trailer and a mere three screens of its upcoming PS3 super-edition: check the movies tab above to see it in action, or images for some crisp new views.
Veterans from the game's Xbox editions may wonder what all the fuss is about, seeing as much of the footage doesn't look severed-head and shoulders beyond the stonking original, but Tecmo claims the game is only 20% complete, with plenty of time before its vague Japanese

PlayStation 3 is about to dawn (in the US and Japan, at least), and though there was little fire in Sony Computer Entertainment president Ken Kutaragi's talk on the topic at the company's Tokyo Game Show conference, which took place in the early hours of this morning, there's a clear sense of optimism... which runs counter to the general sense of despondency surrounding the console among gamers.
So that's the cheery news. Sony is convinced PS3 is a device with a big

PlayStation 3's Formula One doesn't so much emphasise realism, it's obsessed by it. And not just visually, either. This trio of new images look amazing, but it's the gameplay touches that invoke the real Formula One atmosphere, from the fully licensed teams - including Super Aguri and Midland F1 Racing - and tracks to the newly introduced rules for the 2006 season, and a 'parade' lap at the start of each race to warm up your tyres, just like real-world F1 meetings.

As you may have guessed from the screens of PS3's big launch gun, in action Resistance feels a lot like Call of Duty - only with aliens instead of Nazis. And we're not saying that like it's a bad thing.
Like the Call of Duty games, the sense of being on the frontline of a war is overpowering, with so much action going on it's all you can do to stumble forwards in a daze and remember not to shoot the guys in British uniforms. Huge explosions shower the screen with
The PlayStation 3 is about to dawn, and though there was little fire in Sony Computer Entertainment president Ken Kutaragi's talk on the topic, there's a clear sense of optimism... which runs counter to the general sense of vague misery surrounding the console among hardcore gamers ever since May.
So that's the cheery news. Sony is convinced the PS3 is a device with a big future.
The presentation began with a small tidbit for gamers: four trailers for sequels in popular franchises on the PS3.
Go, go, Tokyo
Tokyo Game Show is revving up, and GamesRadar is there, chomping on sushi, stomping on buildings, and trying to see what the original pink Power Ranger looks like behind the mask. We're also playing the crap out of everything we can, so check our TGS landing page for all the good stuff. We'll be updating over the weekend as well, so don't take a day off from checking just because the morning cartoons are better.

These days, everybody sues
Sega announced today that they'll be releasing the reigning king of giant robot combat Armored Core 4 on both 360 and PS3 in Spring 2007. Hopefully, the nimble laser-sword wielding mechs of Armored Core will make a nice counterpoint to the lumbering juggernauts of Chromehounds. It's not that we didn't dig Chromehounds, but we can't ignore the complaints we've heard that the robots in it were slow and cumbersome - an assessment we're inclined to agree with, in

A new story trailer has been released for Resistance, the PS3's WWII shooter set in an altogether different World War II where it's our world versus the aliens - and they're the winning team.
Check the movies tab above for an introduction to playable character Nathan Hale's UK tour of duty. Starting off grim, with the alien Chimera overrunning Europe, it finishes on another less-than-happy note, with its awfully British narrator Rachel Parker explaining that Hale
