After January of this year, which had Bayonetta, Mass Effect 2 and Darksiders, it seems like the first month of the year has become a month that can have real releases in it. And following ME2’s release date by almost exactly one year, Dead Space 2 is coming out January 25 of next year, which honestly can’t come soon enough after the action we saw at the EA press conference from E3. It's not unusual, when checking into E3-sanctioned hotels in the days before the show, to get a packet of licensed junk meant to spread awareness of a particular publisher's games. When we checked in this afternoon, however, we got something we'd never seen before: a trio of faintly awesome keycards, courtesy of Square Enix's (specifically the part that used to be Eidos) E3 lineup...

Why wait for E3 2010 to announce your fall lineup? Seems like plenty of big reveals are finding their way online a full week before the show, a trend continued today with DJ Hero 2. We actually enjoyed the original quite a bit, so even though we're not surprised there's a follow-up (this is Activision, after all), we're definitely interested in the 70 new mashups and addition of vocals.
More details, including the brief list of announced artists and the contents of another humongo bundle inside!
Square Enix announced today that Dungeon Siege 3 is under development by Obsidian Entertainment, with some direction from Chris Taylor, Dungeon Siege's creator, and his studio, Gas Powered Games. This is the first Dungeon Siege to come to consoles...
We reported earlier today the list of confirmed (and unconfirmed) games that are scheduled to appear at E3 2010. Just a few moments after that story went live, Capcom sent along its own email blast containing its entire lineup, plus the promise of other games to be announced during next week's media onslaught.
