  • We all enjoy spitting NPDs at y’all but there’s a problem with that sales chart: it takes too long! We don’t want to know April’s best sellers mid-May, we want it now. Which is why Amazon’s bestseller list is so useful. That mother-effer is updated hourly and tells you right now what the best sellers are. And especially when compared to other games released this week, 3D Dot Game Heroes is looking good...

  • It's no small secret that Atlus's upcoming adventure-'em-up is a direct homage to The Legend of Zelda. Everything from the character designs to the map layout to the music to the in-game items to the... well, everything, is soaking with references to Nintendo's long-running franchise.

So much, in fact, that we can scarcely believe Nintendo hasn't launched a full battalion of lawyers straight at Atlus HQ, especially after this trailer that's practically flaunting Heroes's similarities.

  • Sony's Sackboy is getting the 3D Dot Game Heroes treatment. In an effort to squeeze a little more mileage out of its innovate homage to retro gaming, developer Atlus is introducing LittleBigPlanet's mashable mascot in as a playable character in 3D Dot Game Heroes, along with 50 other user created characters plucked from Atlus' Hall of Heroes sharing site...

  • Remember a couple days ago when we reported on a voice actor saying he was working on an unannounced Kingdom Hearts game, which we thought was called Recoded? Now Square Enix confirmed its existence in a list of the games they’re showing at E3. But how correct were the rumors?

  • First, we need you seated. Done? Ok, we have an announcement of an announcement for you: the upcoming PSP action RPG The 3rd Birthday’s two predecessors, Parasite Eve 1 and 2, will get a rerelease on PSN. Series designer and lead artist Tetsuya Nomura said so. All right, you’re free to back flip with joy... for a second...

  • 50 Cent is set to star in his second videogame, it has emerged via US mag Electronic Gaming Monthly. The millions of people that bought Bulletproof have given Vivendi/Activision Blizzard reason enough to churn out the rapper's second title which, as a cover scan reveals, is set to appear in the next issue of EGM. Simply known as 50 Cent II at the moment, no gameplay details have been revealed, but we're willing to bet that it won't be a pet
  • The first details have emerged on the new 50 Cent game, called 'Blood on the Sand', via a tasty scoop on MTV's website.Developer Swordfish Studios won't say what 50 is doing in this 360 and PS3 follow-up or where it takes place, but by the look of his desert camo the ghetto action goes down in the, err, desert. MTV also says it's inspired by Epic's Gears of War (isn't everything these days?).There's drop-in, drop-out co-op with all of
  • We remember seeing the Sony London-developed 8 Days almost two years ago in a (blatantly pretend in-game CGI) trailer at E3 2006. We assumed it died, but reports say it's very much alive and well. A new trailer along with gameplay demos are reported to have been showcased behind closed doors at last week's Game Developers Conference. Sony is yet to officially release any new details on the game, but according to reports, the whole game takes place
