Today the unlock codes for some new jerseys in NBA Live 10 and NBA 2K10 were released. Teams such as the Mavericks, Hawks, Grizzlies, and Rockets have received new uniforms in the game.

We'll also be getting Creat Studios and Tik Games latest PSN offering, Interpol: The Trial of Dr. Chaos. For those of you in the US or EU, if you don't feel like waiting until next week for the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Demo, it will be available in the Japanese PlayStation Store this week. Also if you've got Batman: Arkham Asylum make sure to download the free Insane Night DLC. The Koalition - EA Sports have done a great job getting people hyped up for the new NBA Live. Competition is stiff on all fronts including the music side. Below I present to you the full tracklist for NBA Live 10. Heavy hitters like Koalition affiliates Mickey Factz & Mick Boogie make the all star cast as well. "Ever since the transition into the current generation of consoles, the NBA Live series has been the younger, less successful, brother in the basketball game family. Every year before the season starts they have to go back home and sit there while everyone keeps telling NBA 2K how great and successful they are. This year EA Sports is hoping to show up their "older brother" by making their game more authentic than ever and by hiring Mike Wang, formally of 2K Sports, to be their lead gameplay designer. With someone from 2K Sports spearheading the design you can expect a lot of gameplay improvements. So far EA has not released too much information in terms of what is new to NBA Live 10 but they have released some gameplay footage as well as a recent blog post discussing about the authenticity of the new title."

"Last year's NBA Live 09 was a huge step forward for EA's efforts on the court. Previous incarnations of the game on next-gen consoles just didn't capture the true feel of a real basketball game. The changes EA made to last year's core game had me convinced the developers were on the right track, but Live 09 was far from perfect. Though I didn't actually get my hands on this year's version of the game, what EA did have to show those of us in attendance looked to be building on the foundation they started with last year."

You'll be happy to hear that gameplay was at the top of that list and I am extremely happy to report that the game (even with 2 months of development left) is already playing better than any other NBA LIVE title. I've been saying that we're "fixing the cracks in the foundation of gameplay". That basically means we're focusing on fixing those controller throwing moments where the game does or doesn't do something that really frustrates you. We will also be offering you an unparalleled level of user control that will completely change the way that you play the game (not marketing speak here…). I'm also really excited about the level of authenticity and team differentiation that you'll see in the game this year. Again, like nothing seen in a basketball game to date. I'll let the experts break all of this down for you in the coming weeks as Mike Wang, Jeff Antwi and Novell Thomas will get into more detail on exactly what we've done and why.

For a very long time now, fans have expressed their distaste and disconcern for the NBA Live franchise. Everyone will have their own opinion as to when the series started falling off, with some even going to the extremes of saying it was never good to begin with. Whatever side of the ball you're on, you'll probably be interested to know that EA Producer Sean O'Brien shares your pain. It's rare for any developer to flatout admit that their games haven't been good, but conversely, it's rare for a developer to say they won't improve, either.
