THQ Inc. have announced that the MX vs. ATV franchise has shipped over ten million units to date. Since debuting in 2004, MX vs. ATV has become the industrys leading off-road racing franchise renowned for its cutting-edge physics, innovative features and extensive content.
As THQ readies the release of its next MX vs. ATV game, which will experiment with a new pricing model, the publisher says the off-road racing franchise has sold 10 million units since its 2004 debut. THQ CEO Brian Farrell has been talking about the next MX vs. ATV game for several months, but the game is just now officially debuting this week at the Monster Energy AMA Supercross season opener in Anaheim.
THQ has claimed that the price of video games will drop in future - and could even go free-to-play - as publishers release less content on-disc.

MaxConsole.net MaxConsole reader Kevin has mailed in to let us know his frustrations regarding false advertising on MX vs ATV Untamed for the PS3. The Official website and GameStop advertise it as having a 12 player multiplayer but it only has 8 player multiplayer. He indicates that the game is just a 'crappy port' of the 360 version and the gas and break are supposed to be analog but they are not and the graphics are so grainy they may as well be in a PS2 game.
