From PS3 Attitude: "The build we played was only 70% complete, but the split-screen was slick, fluid and fast. We noticed the controls have also had a facelift with the addition of features like a bunny-hop. These additional controls have been assigned to the d-pad, which will make for some interesting moments as you align your vehicle before attempting a new trick.

Fancy getting your hands on MotorStorm Pacific Rift two months early? Well you're in luck! Sony has announced that the brutal off-road racer will be touring across the UK throughout August and September.
"Hey PlayStation.Blog Fans, SCEA is heading to Comic-Con this week and giving you the opportunity to play some of the new games from E3 last week. Each morning from 9:30am to 12:00pm, we'll be holding BUZZ! Quiz TV competitions on the stage, come test out your knowledge of trivia and win prizes. In the afternoon, the stage will become the showcase for new talent with SingStar for PS3 from 1:00pm to 7:00pm.
"With this lineup due to be making its presence felt in the homes of PS3 users everywhere, it looks like this will be one of Sony's best-selling years. Microsoft's fall lineup might have problems keeping up with this release schedule."

Speaking to VideoGamer.com at Sony's recent PlayStation Day Nigel Kershaw, MotorStorm Pacific Rift's game director, has revealed what it's like to develop for the PlayStation 3.
The PS3 has a "better line-up than the Xbox 360 in 2008", according to Sony.
Paul Hollywood, creative director of Evolution Studios, confirmed that there will be a demo of MotorStorm: Pacific Rift even before the launch of the game.

Nigel Kershaw, game director for MotorStorm 2, has confirmed that the new racer will have a "strong presence" on Home when the service eventually launches this year.
To tie in with Sony's PlayStation Day event taking place later today (don't worry, we'll be there), Sony will launch a Haze demo on PSN later today.
