Monsters vs Aliens

Well, it could be worse...

Another summer, another animated movie, another game tie-in. There’s nothing surprising about Monsters vs Aliens apart from the fact that it’s not completely awful. The gameplay is divided between three monsters, each with their own distinctive abilities and levels. For instance, Ginormica, the giant woman voiced by Reese Witherspoon in the movie, skates along highways using cars as roller skates, while blue blob B.O.B. solves puzzles by swallowing guards and crates.

Best of all is the Missing Link, whose later stages borrow from God of War, combining platforming, combat and enjoyable quick-time events. It won’t win prizes for originality and many of the levels are a bit samey but as tie-ins go, this is far from monstrous.

Just because it's not a super amazing game doesn't mean you can write a crappy two paragraph review. A three-year-old could do better than this.

Ya know, I'm not sure what's worse. This guy's awful writing, or the fact that GR doesn't do any of their own shit and imports this guy's awful writing. Wait a minute? Where the hell am I? Monsters Vs. Aliens review? I gotta go...

i actually went out and bought this because i wanted to see what was so 'horrible' and the answer is NOTHING this game is actually amazing and ok in the past many animated movies which have been turned into games have failed but M.vs.A is a good game worth more then 2 paragraphs

The more time they put in writing reviews about games you don't care about, the less time they will have to write reviews about games you do care about.
