Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire

The Life-Size Gundam statue is about to return to Odaiba Island in Tokyo. Great news for all who want to see it and did not have the chance the last time. The construction has already begun and is scheduled for completion somewhere in Spring 2012. It will be displayed until the year 2013.

Just when you thought the launch reviews couldn't get worse for the PS3, 1up chimes in with their review of Mobile Suit Gundam: 2/10. Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire doesn't just fail to be next gen, it is barely last gen. The game is an embarrassment to the Gundam name, and raises suspicions that it was rushed for the PS3 launch. Clearly, the series -- and the fans -- deserve better.

Sony has been rolling out new PS3 kiosks across Japan. They're not playable and show pre-renders of launch games like Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire. The reaction? Foot-traffic stopping. Here, flabbergasted customers were brought to a stand-still.

German game site www.gameguide.nl posted today the ultimate list of 160 game tittles in production for the ps3. Within the 160 tittles ,95 of them will be ps3 exclusive . Today, publisher Namco Bandai announced that the latest installment in giant-robot saga Mobile Suit Gundam will arrive on the PlayStation 3 this year.
