TVGB: "Last month 2K Sports, part of Take-Two, released MLB 2K8. Because Take-Two has exclusive third-party rights to make MLB games, every baseball gamer who has an Xbox 360 and some PS3 gamers (most will go for MLB 08: The Show) flocked to get this game, me being one of them. Yes, I did read the reviews and saw the comments about some bugs and glitches, but from what I read the good outweighed the bad. Besides, 2K Sports had said they would be releasing a patch to fix the issues. Being someone who has played PC games for many years now and downloading many patches I said to myself, "Thats ok, been there dealt with that.""
This week's roster update for MLB 08: The Show contains 195 player movements with a handful of them being highlighted below. The Red Sox, A's, Braves, and Nationals have played regular season games but the rest of the league starts up today so look for next week's update to be even more significant.

Major League Baseball's Washington Nationals just moved into their new home ¿ Nationals Park ¿ and they, too, have a killer gaming den: The PlayStation Pavilion.
Yet another baseball game is out today for the PlayStation family. Already widely considered the most authentic baseball franchise on the market, MLB 08 THE SHOW comes out swinging for the fences to deliver an unrivaled simulation with broadcast quality presentation. Developed by Sony Computer Entertainment's Worldwide Studios, San Diego Studio, MLB 08 The Show looks to build on its critical acclaim and its history as the longest-running officially licensed baseball title on PlayStation platforms.
