Getting The Five Statues
In Act 1, when you have to fight the frog soilders, either don't kill any of them or use the MK II to make them fall asleep. If you did this correctly then there will be a frog solider statue inside the garage near where u get out.

On to the BBs, all you have to do is use the MK II on them (you can use the mantis doll on screaming mantis and you will still get the statue).

Location of Beast statues: LO's statues is on a bed in one of the rooms. RR's is on the top floor. CW's is near the bulding were you leave (on the right side of the building). And SM's is a the door where u game through.

You must get the statues before the three minutes end (except for crying wolf, you can get that statue after both battles.

Once you get the five statues and beat the game you will get the solar gun.

Liquid Snake Strategy
when you face him you will have four rounds of him changing his "style" here is an easy way to win.
1. When the round begins he will charge at you. First combo punch him to knock him down, and then rush at him before he gets up. Hold L1, and when he gets up, press R1 twice and the first punch should break his guard. The second punch will get him down and do some damage repeat this until the cutscene.

2. This round is very simple, just dash out of the way when he winds up for the punch. after you dodge, you can either hit him with a combo or the L1 R1 method.

3. All you have to do is combo, combo, combo, and you will win.

4. This round you have to hit him 7 times. Very simple.

Even easier way to kill a Gekko
Entry Location:
Gameplay

All you need is the .50 caliber sniper rifle and a keen eye. Maybe a little bit of good timing. Equip it, take aim at the head, and fire. I hope you like 1 shot kills...

Easy Vamp battle
Entry Location:
Shadow Moses

Vamp is a total sucker for the solar gun. When the battle begins, charge the solar gun all the way, then when vamp runs toward you shoot him, he will immediately fall. You only have a few seconds before he gets back up, so hurry and unequip the solar gun and equip the syringe naomi gives you in the second act. Sneak behind Vamp and right when he's getting up hold R1 and get him in a CQC chokehold. Then press triangle and snake should inject vamp with the nanomachine suppressors.

Easy Way To Kill Gekko
This hint only works after you have defeated crying wolf. All you have to do is to aim at a Gekko with the railgun, wait for it to charge full, pull the trigger and enjoy Gekko dying with 1-shot-kill. Note: aim for its head, not its legs.

Loads Of Batteries
On the Nomad in every mission briefing there is a battery, a total of 5 to be found! Which certainly makes life a little easier, especially in act 4!

Beating Screaming Mantis
First have the mosin nagute (the tranquilizer rifle), the M-14, and the syringe. First use the syringe so that she can't control you. Next shoot The Sorrow puppet with the M14, be careful because you don't want to kill Meryl. After the Sorrow doll falls pick it up so the frogs stop shooting. The shoot the Mantis doll with the mosin nagute until it falls, then shoot Screaming Mantis with the Mantis doll then shake the controller like crazy (If you want to finish her quick, then get the Mantis doll). To beat Screaming Beauty just shoot her with the tranquilizer hand gun. If you killed her by pysche you get her facecamo and you get any of her dolls that you shot out of her hand.

Easy Way to Kill a Gekko
Take out your tranquilizer pistol and fire it at the Gekko's legs then when it falls run to the front of it (it wont attack you) and shoot at it's head with an assault rifle.

Remove Octocamo Pattern
Entry Location:
Any real-time cutscene

During a real time cut scene shake the SixAxix controller to remove the Octocamo pattern on Snake's suit and revert it back to it's original state.

Note: I tried to shake the controller while holding it with both hands and it didn't work. But when I shook the controller with one hand in a fan like motion it worked.

What the special bandanna and stealth suit actually do:

Special Bandanna - gives you unlimited ammo

Stealth Suit - makes you invisible (not like blending in, but like what the MK II/III does when you press the X button).

Easy Octopus Battle
During the laughing octopus battle go under the bed when she is not looking. Make sure the bed is jammed into the corner or else it will not work. Sit under the bed until she comes for you. When she attacks you shoot her. Don't worry her attacks won't harm you. When she goes into hiding find her and attack her. Go back under the bed. Repeat until she is dead.
