Get ready for a fanboy's delight in this spandex-filled adventure
Words: Raymond Padilla, GamesRadar US
The PS3 version, as on the 360, has enchanced graphics over the current-gen version. In fact, there are some minor embellishments over the 360 edition, but they're not significant enough to make this the must-have version. There are also some moves you can pull off using movements with the Sixaxis controller (triggering some special attacks or using control pad movements during quicktime events, like climing up a giant enemy). At best, they're amusing. At worst, they're annoying, and really don't add much to the game - you can even turn them off in the options.
It's almost as if the developers took an existing control scheme and pasted perfunctory Sixaxis functionality on top of it. Oh wait, that's exactly what happened. Luckily, the online play has also made the leap. If you have both systems and are deciding on which version to buy, it comes down to nominally better graphics plus silly Sixaxis controls on PS3, vs achievement points on 360. If you don't have a 360, then playing on the PS3 over the PS2 or Xbox is a no-brainer.
