MAGblog:With the announcement of today's arrival of MAG Beta v1.46, the folks at Sony and Zipper have decided to share our excitement with as many PS3 fans as possible. And so, it is with great pleasure that I make our second announcement of the day, which is that we're giving away a ton of MAG Beta Codes right now!
MAGblog writes: As we announced last week, we have extended our MAG beta program beyond its original November 20 stop date. What we didn't tell you, though, is what that means for you and the other testers who are involved in the program – so here's everything you need to know about the next phase.
Jeff Rubenstein // Social Media Manager: If you've been reading The Official MAG Blog, then you already know that the MAG Beta has been extended. If you *haven't* been paying attention, or were maybe only in an earlier version of the Beta, you might wanna know what's been going on with the game. That's why Zipper Interactive's Lead Designer CJ Heine dropped on by (via PlayStation Eye) to tell us about it.

G4 Writes:
Sony has issued us with 1000 beta keys for its massive multiplayer shooter MAG. On paper it sounds impressive: 256 players online in one game, huge open landscapes, air strikes and a load of vehicles including aeroplanes and tanks. It's like PS3's own homegrown Battlefield - but on a much larger scale. ...

MAGblog: It may be an overused expression, but the phrase, "Because you demanded it" absolutely applies to what I'm about to tell you. Yes, shooter fans, as clichéd as it may sound, because of your overwhelming requests to extend our beta period, we've gone ahead and done it. Originally scheduled to end on November 20, the MAG Beta 4 program will continue on through the weekend and into early next week.
VG247:
Zipper Interactive has had an overwhelming response to the MAG beta, so they have decided to extend it and open up some more spots on the battlefield.
MAGblog: Hey guys, I'm going to keep this update short but sweet. The team here at Zipper will be popping into the MAG public beta 4 next week to take on our testers and see what kind of thunder you guys can bring! We'll be split up into Zipper-powered squads and be rolling with the "UnZipped" Raven clan, so if you're in the beta and want to test in the Sabotage and Acquisition game modes, log in at these times to do it:

The Lost Gamer Writes "The M.A.G. website is undergoing some changes ahead of the games 2010 release and we have found something interesting in the web kits that are now available for download."
This morning we released a new MAG Public Beta update. The new MAG Public Beta update includes a new PSN Title update (version 1.30) and new game data.
While Infinity Ward is abandoning dedicated servers, the guys and gals over at Zipper who are developing the biggest war game to ever grace any gaming console, decided that there are too many benefits to not use them.
Today, October 12 marks the start of the GameStop and EB Games pre-order MAG Public Beta period. At 10:00 AM this morning, all those who pre-ordered MAG from GameStop or EB Games in Canada received access to the MAG Public Beta and joined existing Public Beta users.
NextGN: "Technically, the game feels like what you would expect from the Beta. My biggest gripe was the grenade physics, they feel clunky and their bounce effects are very strange, but aside from that, the controls feel incredibly intuitive and smooth, even though the weapons feel somewhat light. Keeping in mind this is only a Beta, I can see myself playing this a lot when it launches. Once you begin to understand the intricacies of the title, MAG becomes a pleasure to play, and I can safely say this is one of the best Betas I have been a part of. Keep your eyes on this game!"

GOONL!NE writes: "If you haven't heard, MAG is here. To be specific, the MAG beta, putting upwards of 16,000 players in a 256-man battlefield, has gone live. Not one of those lucky 16,000? We've got a treat for you…
