For example, don't go looking for an owner's mode here. There isn't one. You aren't building your stadium or choosing the price of tickets, so don't ask. The franchise mode has been severely gutted, so no owner's box, no emails from personnel, or Tony Bruno radio show. Also, some of the minigames are missing.

However, you've still got the 30-year franchise mode; Superstar mode, in which you choose a single player and try to get into the Hall of Fame; and some hot head-to-head online action.
 
Of course, the looks of Madden NFL 07 will stun you. The control is smooth, though the only added PS3 benefit is the ability to fake snap or throw a harder run block (on offense) or tackle with a bigger hit or jump the snap (on defense) with a flick of the Sixaxis. Which we turned off because we kept fidgeting and jumping offsides even on the lowest sensitivity. But some of the other features are seriously nice.
