The multiplayer demo for Lost Planet: Extreme Condition is temporarily being removed from the PlayStation Network in order to address issues that have come to light. We will be working overtime to correct the issue and expect to upload a new version to the PlayStation Network as soon as possible that accurately reflects the incredible online features of the game. For those of you who have already downloaded the demo, the servers are being taken down until the new version is ready to go. Sony apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and your interest in Lost Planet.
Dont bother downloading the latest demo of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition just yet. Due to some kind of server error, the online "only demo" is not able to connect to any online server, not even ones you host yourself! Hopefully Capcom will respond asap and give the PS3 owners a decent working demo.

For some reason, Lost Planet had a thriving online community when it launched on Xbox 360. Capcom is looking to recreate that success for the PS3. The Japanese PS Store has been updated with a brand new online-enabled demo of the game. Of course, you'll need a Japanese PSN account to access it, but we're certain that Capcom USA will release a similar demo in the future.
Shacknews is reporting the PlayStation 3 version of the once-Xbox 360 exclusive Lost Planet: Extreme Condition will be in stores February 26. Publisher Capcom, which developed the game internally, provided the date along with several new screenshots.
Capcom has sent out another batch of screenshots - fifteen to be exact - from the PS3 version of Lost Planet.
