Dead Rising's Frank West is such a man that he can run around snow-blasted environments in just his underpants. And they're blue underpants with yellow trim at that.

Anyway, that's a slightly round-a-bout introduction to the fact that we've several new-ish screenshots from Capcom's Lost Planet - Colonies, the special edition version of the shooter that's releasing on PC and Xbox 360.

It's joining the minuscule list of games that support cross-platform play between PC and Xbox 360 through Live, and features new play modes, multiplayer maps and playable characters including an Akrid (big alien thing).
