Lord of the Rings: Conquest

Pandemic game director Eric 'Giz' Gewirtz has revealed a ton of information about the newly revealed Lord of the Rings: Conquest in this Eurogamer.de interview, including first word on 16-player multiplay, four-player co-op for the Story mode, good and evil campaigns and plenty more. First details have emerged on Lord of the Rings: Conquest which is being developed by Mercenaries crew Pandemic.

Reported on IGN, Conquest is a bit like Star Wars: Battlefront with players able to fight it out Rings style in battles taken from Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings movies and combat grounds created especially for the title.

IGN writes: It seems that no matter how many high-profile titles Pandemic has under its wing, there's something else there that we haven't heard about yet. Case in point - The Lord of the Rings: Conquest, the studio's semi-spiritual sequel to its Star Wars: Battlefront work.
