We wouldn't be surprised to see booster packs cropping up on the PlayStation Store in the future. There's also the worrying matter of longevity. Once the puzzle of each level has been cracked open, the only reason to come back is to challenge the established high scores on the online Leaderboards. And as those boards are already chockfull with superb performances, the motivation to raise your game just isn't there.
But despite all of this, it just feels lame to pour scorn on Lemmings when it'll only cost you pocket change. The fact is that Lemmings is yet another triumph for the superb PlayStation Store. The gameplay is solid, the graphics are pretty and it's great value. Even if puzzle games aren't really your bag, there's nothing to lose - it's good enough and cheap enough to make it a universally recommended purchase. You've no reason not to jump in.
