Activision-Blizzard have today released an updated release schedule for their autumn/winter line-up. Within the schedule are release dates for all of Activision-Blizzard's highly-anticipated releases throughout October, November and December 2009, including DJ Hero, Band Hero and possibly one of the strongest releases of 2009, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Here is the best game deal I have seen all week, felt I should share the wealth.

Fry's Electronics is slashing the price of Lego Star Wars collection, an excellent game, from the MSRP of $49.99 down to a measly $19.99! I highly recommend picking up this game, especially for the price. Casual and hardcore gamers alike will love this game. Hurry sale ends on Tuesday. If you don't live near a Fry's electronics (i.e. Eastcoast gamers) you could always use Frys.com who also have the game on sale. I also recommend getting Best Buy to price match Fry's if you local store is out of stock. Enjoy the deal of the week.

Traveller's Tales Would Love To Make LEGO Batman Sequel (News)

An excerpt from the latest issue of NGamer, an interview with Traveller's Tales' Arthur Parsons:

"NGamer: Do you see the wider DC universe making it into Lego form? The Justice League could be good.

Arthur Parsons: Whether any more of the DC universe makes the transition into Lego depends largely on the success of Lego Batman, and on whether Traveller's Tales, Warner Bros. and Lego want to make any other characters into Lego games. I'd love to make a sequel to Lego Batman because it was immense fun to work on."

Jan. 2, 2008 -- MSNBC tallied in their Game of the Year readers' votes between December 19 and 27. "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" garnered 33 percent of the over 17,000 votes and is MSNBC Readers' Game of the Year. The runner-up was "Bioshock" at 22 percent of the votes. The second runner-up was "Mass Effect" at 10 percent.

MSNBC video game section has been polling gamers about their favorite games in a number of categories, trying to narrow down the search for the Game of the Year.

On Thursday the site put up the poll to decide which of the finalists, culled from the best of each genre, should be named the game of the year.

The finalists are:

GameCity is offering attendees the chance to play an exclusive demo of Ubisoft and Free Radical Design's hotly anticipated PlayStation 3 shooter Haze this week.

The world exclusive demo will be free to play at the Broadway Centre on Nottingham, October 27, from 11am until 1 pm.

Haze isn't the only game that will get an exclusive public session this week. Traveller's Tales' Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga for the Wii will be hands-on at GameCity Â¿ a world exclusive for the growing UK festival.

The first trailer from LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga has hit the internet. Featuring plenty of gameplay, it's viewable over at LucasArts' website. Traveller's Tales' series of LEGO Star Wars game are great. We should all agree on that. And the series is set to explode like the Death Star across all major platforms.
