Asked point-blank whether there's any chance of an LA Noire 2, Rockstar says it "simply hasn't decided anything" about the series' future. No "no"? Why, that's almost a yes...

The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences has today announced their list of nominations for the annual Interactive Achievement Awards, and Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception has hit it big with a dozen nominations. The Naughty Dog developed game is nominated for several big awards, including the big Game of the Year nod.

Speaking to Official PlayStation Magazine UK in the latest issue, Brendan McNamara has talked about why LA Noire took so long to make. One [thing] is the size, its a huge game probably too big. The maps massive, and so thats probably my fault.

It was a long, painful process, but making games is like making films in that its a marathon, not a sprint and some people come into the process not knowing that.
