Sony Canada has decided to pull about 300 bus shelter Killzone 2 ads throughout the Greater Toronto Area following a string of complaints by parents regarding the violent imagery. Davis Mirza, a 4/5 grade teacher, contacted Sony Canada when he noticed one such ad on display at a bus shelter near his Scarborough school.
On retail shelves for just about 2 weeks, the PS3 exclusive has now sold over 1 million copies. On the opening weekend, Killzone 2 went on to sell about 700,000 copies in North America and Europe. Over the course of the next week, it went on to sell another 300,000 copies, which represents a drop off of about 50% - a pretty decent showing considering the title was launched in a non-holiday period. In total, the game has sold about 1.05 million copies thus far.

The Dutch PlayStation website PSFocus.nl went to Guerrilla Games yesterday for yet another interview with the developers. This interview will come online later this week, but during the interview they gained information about the Killzone 2 Home space and Home integration.
It only took me two hours to come to the conclusion that Call of Duty 4 was finally trumped as king. My decision based upon writing this article fell only on the reason that I want every FPS fan to play this game. If you do not have a Playstation 3, and you love FPS, now is the best time to go ahead and pick one up, along with a copy of Killzone 2.
