Zero Point Software has announced that the work-in-progress Interstellar Marines has surpassed one-hundred-thousand registered members of its online community, each partaking in the free-to-play online game or one of its upgrade packages. Interstellar Marines is planned as a trilogy of games; a high-quality First-Person Shooter (FPS) experienced in a realistic and unpredictable future where first contact with another sentient species is slowly becoming reality.

Critical Gamer Writes: Zero Point Software have now opened up the Vault The Vault is described as an in-engine preview concept of some of the characters you'll meet in Interstellar Marines and runs directly through your browser. Zero Point believe their fans are not to be taken for granted and that potentially the Vault could change the way in which games are are marketed. PSU has been receiving many requests from our readers as of late concerning an update on Zeropoint Software's sci-fi FPS, Interstellar Marines. As a result, we decided to get in touch with the Copenhagen-based studio in order to shed some light on the project. According to company representative Kristian Waneck, the title remains very much in developed behind closed doors, with the studio only too well aware of the frustrations shared by gamers from lack of updates on the title.

PSU Writes: Developed by Zero Point Software, an independent studio out of Copenhagen, Interstellar Marines is a sci-fi hybrid that combines the cooperative gameplay and military realism of the tactical shooter with the character development and narrative depth of RPG's.
