Australian Ratings board accidentally lets news out that there is a second Hyrdrophobia game in the works.

Hydrophobia developers Dark Energy Digital weren't happy with certain poor reviews of their game to begin with. But now, they've apparently had a change of mind.

The Official Xbox Magazine has lifted the lid on its Hydrophobia review - and it's slapped an 8/10 score on the XBLA game.

GameCity have announced that GameCityNights Season 1, Episode 8 will be headlined with the showcase of the first title from Dark Energy Digital, Hydrophobia. Hydrophobia is coming exclusively to Xbox LIVE Arcade and is part of Microsofts Game Feast series. Part one of Dark Energy Digitals trilogy, Hydrophobia is available for download from the 29th September 2010 in all PAL regions for 1200 Microsoft points, with parts two and three available later in the year.

Dark Energy Digital's Pete Jones wants to clarify the exclusivity deal his studio has with Microsoft. We're launching exclusively on 360, just to get that one out of the way -- but there will be a PS3 and a PC version in the fullness of time, Jones told us, confirming a PC release of the game along the way. Unfortunately, he couldn't tell us exactly how long Microsoft's period of exclusivity will last.

In a recent podcast interview, the leads of Dark Energy Digital revealed their upcoming XBLA title Hydrophobia will hit with a file size under 1 GB and confirm that the game will not be an Xbox exclusive. Interview starts at about 37:00 and details of the Xbox/PS3 distribution start at about 55:00 into the show.

Blade Interactive has told Eurogamer that its watery action game Hydrophobia has spilled into March 2009. The studio will also self-publish the title that we had previously expected in the latter half of this year. Hydrophobia is a third-person action-adventure game set aboard a ship, and based around water-focused physics puzzles; players can use the liquid to wash away baddies or to clamber up to what appear to be unreachable areas.

The not much talked about game has just had it's E3 debut with new screens and a trailer. Now here's something to consider: 1. the in-game footage is rendered in real-time (i.e. they're not CGI movies) 2. they're labeled as work in progress (which means, there's still a chance for improvement when the final build is implemented)
