PS3 - Haze - Rumour: Haze PS3 Exclusive Jeuxvideo reports that at the Ubisoft conference, Haze, the FPS developed in the studios of Free Radical, will be exclusive to the Playstation 3.

For the moment though, it appears that this is most likely going to be a timed exclusive. But it will be necessary to wait tomorrow more on this subject.

Concerning the play in itself, the developers showed a new trailer and explained the scenario: Mantel is a group which controls the world, the oil industry and the pharmaceutical industry. Mantel also produces a very powerful drug.

The game is due out this year.

PS3 - Haze - New Haze Details Coming Next Week? Not too long ago, we told you about a new viral website for Timesplitter's developers Free Radical's first next-generation project Haze. The website has since been updated a claims "The New Mantel Trooper Will Be Revealed Soon. Come Back on May 10th".

PS3 - Haze - New Details About Haze According to GameFront, Haze runs on its own engine at a framerate of 30 fps. Loading times and "intermediate sequences" are supposedly nonexistent. It has four gameplay modes: online, offline, LAN, and split-screen.

In single player, team members will be controlled completely by the computer. The main character seems to have undergone a name change. While he was referred to as Jake Carpenter in previous interviews, the GameFront post mentions him as "Shan" Carpenter.

Listed in the article are also some of the weapons and gear that will be available in the game.

Haze is slated for a multiplatform release on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. A specific release date has yet to be announced.

PS3 - Haze - Secret Haze website uncovered Ubisoft's FPS Haze disappeared off the radar after being officially announced last May, but a year on and it's back - sort of - as the publisher launches a viral marketing-style website for Mantel Global Industries.

Haze is being developed for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 by TimeSplitters chaps Free Radical and is set in the near-future.
