Chatting with Free Radical's David Doak earlier today, 1UP learned that the developer aims to have a demo available on PSN before the game's release. According to Doak, they're still not sure if it'll be a single-player or multi player demo, but the intention is definitely to have something for people to check out before Haze hits PS3 in November. Separately, Free Radical will offer a beta test of the game this fall. Whether this beta will be limited or in wide release isn't yet known.

Free Radical has released new info on the way that the players can kill their enemies...

1. Nectar Grenade: By ripping the Nectar pack off the back of a dead soldier, you can strap it onto a grenade. When it goes off, the cloud of yellow gas will make any Mantel trooper in the vicinity overdose.

2. Nectar Knife: When you make a Nectar Grenade, you can smear the stuff on the blade of your knife. So, if you melee or throw it at someone, they'll overdose.

3. Nectar Pack Shot: The round yellow disc on the back on each Mantel trooper is his Nectar Pack. It's tricky, but if you can get a clear shot or melee it, you'll make it malfunction and pump too much Nectar into the poor bad guy's bloodstream ¿ another overdose situation.

SPOnG caught up with the developers behind Haze, Free Radical, yesterday, and amid all the chat about entering warzones jacked up on drugs and who'd win in a fight between Buddha and Jesus¿, some interesting things were said about the PlayStation Network. Specifically, the joy and the terror provided by the freedom it enables.

"The disadvantage of the Sony stuff is that there isn't as much defined by Sony as to how you have to do things - they leave it very much up to you" Derek Littlewood, project leader on Haze told us.

Today, Ubisoft released their official line up of titles that will be present at this year Leipzig Game Convention in Germany via a press release. They have confirmed that, Assassin's Creed will not be present at this years GC. The show which will be held from the 23 of this month to the 28 of this month. HMV, who are currently offering Xbox360 version of MGS4 for pre-orders are also offering a pre-orders for PC/360 versions of Haze and UT3 which have all been confirmed by the game publishers and Sony to be a timed exclusive to the playstation computer entertainment this year.

Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. (SCEA) held its annual press conference today at the E3 Media & Business Summit, making a series of announcements that demonstrated the strength and innovation of the PlayStation® family of products.

PlayStation fans will have further reason to get excited about growing their game libraries as Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) and industry veterans Epic Games announced a multi-stage agreement.

As a result of the agreement, Midway and Epic Games will make the platform debut of Unreal Tournament 3 exclusively on PS3 this fall.

"The raw power of PS3 and Unreal Engine 3 allow us to provide gamers the full Unreal Tournament 3 first-person shooter experience normally found only on a PC," said Mark Rein, Vice President, Epic Games. "The PS3 is the ideal platform for us to deliver stunning visuals and awesome gameplay.

Also, releasing this fall, legendary PlayStation development team Free Radical Design and leading publisher Ubisoft have teamed up to deliver the mind-altering, technologically superior game HAZE exclusively for PS3 this holiday season.

Free Radical released a pre-E3 footage of Haze, during the video there was no mention of a Xbox 360 version and the last seconds of the video show messages of a possible PS3 exclusivity and a big announcement in this E3.

At Haze website there is no Xbox logo, only PS3.
