The recently announced PC version of Guitar Hero: World Tour will be able to use the PlayStation 3 controllers. Activision confirmed this to GameRush.nl. The same site mentions a July 2009 release for The Netherlands, and maybe the rest of Europe too.

Two new Track Packs have just been made available for Guitar Hero World Tour downloadable content today. The first of which is the second Jimi Hendrix Track Pack which features the live Woodstock version of "Foxey Lady," "Freedom," and "Angel" on the PS3 and XBOX 360 versions of the game. Available on the Nintento Wii version are the aforementioned songs as singles as well as the first Jimi Hendrix Track Pack: "Fire" (Woodstock), "Little Wing" and "If 6 was 9."
