GripShift races onto PlayStation Network

Re-mix of original game for HD era hits soon

The few of you lucky enough to spend your life savings on the PlayStation 3 and are already bored with the awesome MotorStorm demo, will get access to a re-mix of an old racer in the next few weeks courtesy of the PlayStation Network. Going by the vaguely pornographic title GripShift, players will navigate through four different themed worlds (Desert, Jungle, Ice and the ominous Horror) across roller-coaster style tracks.

Sony promises improved vehicle handling over the original game, while providing over 125 levels across 25 tracks with souped up HD graphics. Expect plenty of stunt driving, power-ups and all sorts of crazy driving maneuvers that’ll never happen in real life.

GripShift hits the PlayStation Network in late December/early January, which is like, any day now and it’ll set you back $9.99, roughly 1/6th the price of anything on the PS3 right now. We’ll let you know once the game goes live fo sho and in the meantime, race over to our Images tab for some new screens.
