Polyphony Digital has always been very open about how their games sell. Similarly with Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. GT5P (the predecessor of Gran Turismo 5), has a total of 3,940,000 units sold. That is just a 'half' game. In total, the Gran Turismo series has sold more than 52.73 million units .It is a very popular series and will remain so!
While a solid release date for Gran Turismo 5 remains shrouded in mystery, new details surrounding the game's ability to connect with its PSP brethren suggest the two may have a play date scheduled for this holiday season.

French website PS3Gen.fr revealed an other part of his leaked document from a big retailer in France. We can see release date for Gran Turismo 5, Uncharted 2, Eye Pet and MAG in Europe. it seems that's a game Jak & Daxter is also planned, perhaps for PSP.

Amazon UK has started offering the PS3 exclusive GT5 for pre-order at a very low price, just £17.59.
