GTPlanet writes: "With so many of you making plans to attend the PlayStation House tour after we noticed that Gran Turismo 5 would be making an appearance, I felt this latest turn of events has warranted its own blog post. Unfortunately, in a statement to VG247, SCEE has announced that GT5's listing on the site was a "mistake". Sure enough, Sony has just updated the PlayStation House website, removing the racing title from the description (the old version lives on in Google's cache, for now)."
The show is just getting started, so the only impressions we have so far are via Japanese sites Gigazine and Inside-Games. NowGamer: In a recent interview with NowGamer, Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi admitted that he would love to make another Tourist Trophy game. When we quizzed him about the prospect the man from Polyphony replied, "I would really love to make another one of those. We don't have any actual concrete plans at the moment, though I'm constantly awaiting the day when I can meet Tourist Trophy again. Really, I want you to know that I'm very glad people want another Tourist Trophy game."
The pic where Yamauchi is holding a GT5 package only shows ONE case being the actual game - the black one. You can clearly see the top case is a Gran Turismo 5 case. You can tell because you can see the Japanese CERO rating (like our American ESRB), and the transparent white PS3 case, with the new PS3 logo. And the bottom two look like instruction booklets, or car booklets that detail all of the cars featured in the game (this is something Polyphony has done many times in the past).
