At a recent PSN event, IGN was able to talk to the producers of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue about their upcoming title and get a few more details on the anticipated racer." While IGN has known for a while that the Blu-ray version of the game would exclusively have the Beyond the Apex feature, we were told that the disc version of the game would also have a lot more cinematics included, such as video course guides of the real-life tracks, as well as the opening and ending movie. Many of these elements won't be included within the initial download of the game from the PSN, although we were told that some of these items would eventually find their way onto Gran Turismo TV, the racing specific channel that will be included within the game."
There is an update already available for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, it's a damn big one, it's taking a while to download. So if your trying to get online, you will be prompt to download an update.
The final of the nationwide GT5P competition took place last night in London's Marble Arch, and the winner, Three Speech is happy to say, was one of own Three Speech users, Drew Forster from the HMV Edinburgh heat (PSN moniker Bicycle Shorts, if you fancy a race). Second place went to Gavin Dempster with Christian Chapman coming in a very respectable third.

VG247's reporting a rumour that says SCEE's going to release GT5: Prologue on the European PSN between 3pm and 6pm GMT today.
Sony has told Eurogamer that "last minute technical difficulties" are to blame for the absence of yesterday's expected PlayStation Store update.
Eurogamer writes: "Gran Turismo 5 Prologue appears to have missed its March 27th PlayStation Network launch date, with the game unavailable from Sony's PAL store at the time of writing.

We're so glad to settle, in fact, that Gran Turismo 5: Prologue's release in Europe has catapulted the game to the top spot on Amazon's UK site. Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is now available in some european countries in the Blu-ray version. And there's already an update that you need to install if you want to play online. The problem is the servers are probably overloaded and downloading this update is almost impossible.
GameRevolver.com reassures the Playstation community that GT5P will be available in infinite supply contrary to many rumors.
