Sony has told Eurogamer it's aiming for a late March release for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, with an exact date and price are still to be confirmed

Your first real taste of next-gen GT is coming in March. At least, according to amazon.com and GameStop. Both retailers have pre-orders for the upcoming disc version of Prologue -- and for $40. There are those that think this is much too expensive for a "demo," while others will note the extensive features set that puts most retail games to shame.

The portuguese PS3 website gam3r.net received news from an official Sony PlayStation source that GT5: Prologue will be released in March. The exact day is not revealed.
Ask any Gran Turismo 5 Prologue player what's missing from the GT5 sampler, and they'll likely answer with Moon Over the Castle. The franchise theme song didn't make it into the Prologue version, suggesting that we'd have to wait until the real GT5 release before hearing it again.
