The six vintage Mega Drive games heading to PlayStation Network over the next couple of months will feature online leaderboards and trophies, SEGA has revealed. SEGA's Mike Kebby stopped by the PlayStation Blog to announce that Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic 2, Streets of Rage 2, Golden Axe 2, Altered Beast and Comix Zone would all be online enabled. On top of leaderboards and trophies, Sonic 2, Streets of Rage 2, Altered Beast and Comix Zone will also feature online co-op play. Kebby then divulged the full trophy list for classic platformer Sonic the Hedgehog, which hits PlayStation Network today.

Destructoid: Today, over on Amazon, the Xbox 360 version of Golden Axe: Beast Rider is on sale for fifteen dollars. I asked Jim Sterling, who reviewed the game when it released last October, if he thought that was a reasonable price to ask for the action title. While he was not sufficiently plussed by the game to recommend people purchase it, he did believe that there was some entertainment value to be had there and that, while the asking price of fifteen dollars was pushing it, it might be acceptable.

For the second year running, the Xbox 360 is the king of consoles. Barely edging out the impressive PS3, the swanky new dash and the amazing exclusives like Gears of War 2 and Fable 2 put Microsoft over the top. The Wii's casual focus didn't garner it any votes this year.
