Avatar is of a far higher caliber than your usual movie tie-in and no doubt Cameron will deliver an epic cinema experience. Sadly, his universe isn’t so unique to the videogame world.

Joe Danger

The debut game from UK indie Hello Games, Joe Danger has a cracking pedigree taking in the likes of Burnout, Black, Virtua Tennis and Geometry Wars Galaxies. Superficially a 2D stunt racer, it's actually a gleefully clever racing/platformer/puzzler/sandbox hybrid and so far, we've had a hoot with it.

Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights

With a solid online mode and detailed car customization, this re-vamped racer has got the juice.

Jumping Flash 2

Jurassic: The Hunted

This shooter has the insane plot of a survivalist stuck on an island that starts to go back in time that puts him in a life or death struggle hunting and being hunted by dinosaurs. It sounds too good to be true.

Just Cause 2

Rico Rodriquez is back to wreak havoc on a new destination - the South East Asian islands of Panau. Bet the tourist bureau will love that.
