Joe Danger

The debut game from UK indie Hello Games, Joe Danger has a cracking pedigree taking in the likes of Burnout, Black, Virtua Tennis and Geometry Wars Galaxies. Superficially a 2D stunt racer, it's actually a gleefully clever racing/platformer/puzzler/sandbox hybrid and so far, we've had a hoot with it.

Frogger Returns

This new entry in the arcade classic franchise recreates the retro gameplay with current graphics and will be coming to PSN.

Shatter

Even though it's basically Breakout in space, Shatter is smart, smoothly playable and super addictive. Another great PSN title.

Rune Raider

Gravity Crash

Another in a line of titles that takes early 80s arcade gameplay and combines it with neon HD graphics, this PlayStation Network-exclusive space shooter wants to take it up a notch.

Consistent since 1984 - big bosses, lots of explosions and classic shooter gameplay - 1942 Joint Strike is a good play through but not that ambitious.

Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3

As a follow-up to the arcade shooters back in the '80s, this top-down blaster delievers some cheap thrills and explosions but little else.
