LucasArts has told us that a demo of Fracture will be released simultaneously on PSN and XBL in "August or September."
The third-person shooter takes a punt at innovation with a terrain deformation system that allows you to literally morph hills and craters into the ground using a gun called the Entrencher.
LucasArts says that the demo would be the same as the version that games journos recently got a crack at for their hands-on previews, which contains a tutorial stage leading into an action level in which you can try out all the land-bending trickery. (Multiplayer options were not included.)
Look out for hands-on impressions of the game, along with brand new assets soon.
